*Flexfactory and SUSTAIN: A Comparison of North American and European Pathways to Successful Collaboration and Entrepreneurship

What makes for successful collaboration, one that results in a clear pathway to entrepreneurship, IP or product commercialisation? This presentation brings together speakers from NCState University and WSA, University of Southampton who are working together to explore this important topic under the SUSTAIN research programme at WSA and FlexFactory at NCState. The two universities will jointly host a series of workshops, seminars and other events in US and UK. Directed at industry and academia, the first workshop will take place the week before Advanced Textiles Expo 2026 at NCState’s newly launched FlexFactory in Raleigh.
