The Berry Amendment, established under the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), requires the U.S. Department of Defense to source certain products and materials domestically. Panelists from across the U.S. military textiles industry will discuss how the Berry Amendment supports the full domestic textile supply chain—from fiber and yarn through final assembly—while sustaining the skills, manufacturing capabilities, and workforce that benefit other industries and applications. The panel will also highlight the importance of advocacy in protecting and strengthening the Berry Amendment, government procurement policies, and Buy American initiatives.
