Inside the Signage Industry’s Awning Frustrations—and the Opportunity Waiting for You!

Wednesday, November 4 @ 2:30 pm - 3:00 pm

Brad Turpin Jr., Associate Director of Content & Training, International Sign Association (ISA)

Sign companies are constantly asked by their clients to provide awnings, but most don’t have the in-house expertise to handle them well. This session, presented by the International Sign Association, pulls back the curtain on where sign companies struggle most: structural engineering and permitting, field installation differences, fabrication and quality control when outsourcing, shipping and logistics costs (especially for national accounts), and ongoing graphics/lifecycle management like cleaning, fading, and rebranding.

Rather than offering solutions, we’re sharing the unfiltered frustrations straight from sign companies themselves—giving awning manufacturers, fabricators, and installers a direct look at where the pain points are and where real partnership opportunities exist.

This is a rare, candid look at an underserved customer base hiding in plain sight; sign companies across the country who need a reliable awning partner and don’t currently have one.
