Principles of Textiles: A Preview of TextileREADY–Part 1

This interactive introduction to TextileREADY, a workforce development initiative created through a collaboration between Gaston College’s Textile Technology Center and NC State University’s Wilson College of Textiles. Participants will gain a foundational understanding of fibers, yarns, fabrics, printing, and more while exploring the diverse career opportunities within the textile industry. This engaging session includes hands-on activities and provides a preview of the comprehensive TextileREADY curriculum designed to build industry knowledge through stackable, workforce-focused education. Upon completion, attendees will receive a digital credential.
